Wedding Make Up

The big day is a very important time for any lady. Finishing Touch aims to make sure that you are at your most beautiful all day and make those pictures perfect.
I will visit your home to carry out a trial make up session and consultation. This is aimed at discussing the colour of your flowers, your bridesmaids’ colour scheme and whether you are going to wear a veil, tiara etc. From this we can co-ordinate your wedding make up. This is also used to check for any allergic reactions to the make up.

Photographic Make Up

I have worked on a number of photo shoots for the purposes of model portfolios and portraits. From the knowledge I have gained from this and my University course, I appreciate the problems created with the use of lighting techniques in that it can drain colour from the face causing unnatural effects and contours. These problems can be overcome by adapting the application of the make up in various ways so to achieve the required effect.

Theatrical Make Up

I have a keen interest in art and feel that theatrical and special effects make up gives me an opportunity to really be artistic. I have done a number of different body paintings, one of which was for a promotional event in Leeds. As well as body painting I have also done casualty simulation.
